On February 29, 2012 VU Executive Vice President Dr. Xulong Dai visited some top-quality universities in Michigan, USA. Three schools were visited, amongst them Michigan State University, Madonna University and Adrian College. The VU delegates, who are constantly looking for ways to intensify academic cooperation, were welcomed by chief representatives from the above mentioned schools. The objective of those visits was to promote the establishment of networks and prolonged business partnerships.

The objective was met since VU is now in the process of setting Dual Degree Programs with Madonna University and Adrian College, as well as coordinating a training program with Michigan State University.
